Boats & Water …
Boats may be viewed as portraits of beautiful female figures
or perhaps weathered, old sailors surrounded by color in the
waterscape. Explore the techniques of painting of boats and water.
Demonstration in oil.
This one-day workshop is geared toward experienced
plein air artists using oil pigment, pastel or acrylic paint
media. (The 3-day Introduction PAP Course is recommended prior to this workshop.)
When and Where: Date of class and location of boat site to be determined by instructor.

Composition and Perspective for Outdoor Painting …
A one-day workshop for artists using any media and at any skill level.
Drawing the composition and architectural perspective are critical elements in any landscape painting. Artists using any media will fine tune their skills for composing a painting for the landscape. Demonstration in oil pigment.

COMPOSITION FORMS FOR LANDSCAPE PAINTING
A one and one-half hour demonstration of many of the landscape and waterscape composition forms for both studio and landscape plein air painting. Barbara displays and critiques the numerous composition forms with examples. This presentation must be conducted indoors and requires a display screen.
