Barbara loves to camp in the mountains as well as near a lake or seashore. Pictured is a small watercolor of Barbara's "Zen Den".... alias name for her 17-foot 2007 Casita Travel Trailer. She traverses the country with her Silky Terrier, Jessie, to plein air paint and vacation. She has traveled to numerous national parks, the Western, Southern and Northeast States. "My Campsite " 6"x8" watercolor.
Standing on the docks of Shem Creek, Barbara painted the boats that were
moored on the opposite side of the Creek. Shrimps Boats in Shem Creek 11" x 14" oil. From this plein air painting, Barbara has painted a large 20" x 24" studio painting.
While relaxing on the beach of Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes, viewing the
lounging chairs of the Lodge's dock was too much of a temptation. Barbara had to paint the chairs. "Have A Seat" 5.5." x 14" oil.

Barbara loves to capture the beauty of landscapes in real-time. My work reflects the vibrant colors and natural light of the locations I visit. The scene is taken from Route 12 at the 1898 red barn overlooking Canandaigua Lake. 'Spirit of Canandaigua" 20"x 24" oil.
